Me and my sha-dow… I mean, web-blog

My name is Greg, and I’m an English Professional Writing major at Elizabethtown College in a town of equal name in Pennslyvania. It’s a small town in the middle of bumble-f***, located between Harrisburg and Lancaster (emphasis on the first syllable, as they do here). Anywho, I’m new to this whole blogging thing: I’m taking a class called “Writing For New Media,” and the prof, one I’ve never had before, wants us to write some blogs. So there ya go; I’m now writing blogs.

I thoroughly enjoy creative writing. I’m a poet, playwrite, short story-ist, and somewhat of a novelist (though we won’t get into that “ist” write now. Haha, get it? “Write” now instead of “right” now? It’s a writer’s thing). I also tend to digress a lot. When I’m not writing, I enjoy playing violent computer games like the Half-Life series, Crisys (my new favorite), and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Yes, that’s right; I’m playing GTA. Pretty soon I’ll be riding the roads in a stolen Maserati, running people over, and generally shooting up the place. And if you believe that, I’ve got a bridge or five to sell you. I also like reading (favorite author is Tom Clancey), taking photos (I have a Canon Rebel XT), and just generally hanging out. I’m also engaged *pause for shocked response* but we’ve yet to set a date.
